HOW DO I KNOW IF SURGERY IS RIGHT FOR ME?

We will developed a personalized care plan, together. Surgery is not right for all patients. We pride ourselves on providing the best option for you utilizing history, physical exam, labs, imaging, and genetic risk profiling. We also offer High Intensity Focused Ultrasound and Active Surveillance.

INSURANCE

We accept and are in network with most commercial insurances including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross, Cigna, and United Healthcare. We do not accept Medicare or Medicare advantage plans.

CASH PAY

The cash pay price for outpatient Robotic Prostatectomy is $19,900. This includes surgery, anesthesia, facility, and pathology fees. This also includes preoperative visit, operative visit, and a postoperative visit.

WHEN CAN I HAVE SURGERY?

Typically you can have surgery one month after your prostate biopsy. You will need to have a cardiac evaluation by your local cardiologist to ensure your heart is safe for surgery. 

WHEN CAN I RETURN TO WORK?

We recommend 1 month off work, no driving for 2 weeks, and no heavy lifting or strenuous activity for 6 weeks.

WHAT CAN I DO AFTER SURGERY TO MAXIMIZE MY SURVIVAL?

Our prostate cancer survivorship program will provide you with the best recommendations for diet, fluids, stress, sleep, exercise, and weight modifications to help ensure you live your best life.

HOW MUCH PAIN WILL I HAVE AFTER SURGERY?

We have pioneered the only zero narcotic, truly outpatient robotic prostatectomy in the country. Patients do amazingly well and take Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and Tramadol for pain. Our satisfaction scores are over 96%.
